A Nic Salt liquid has a nicotine base that is directly extracted from tobacco leaves and is therefore usually perceived as softer than normal (freebase) nicotine. This nicotine also enters the bloodstream faster, so it has a more effective effect with longer satisfaction and you therefore have to evaporate less liquid for the same result.
